Marie McChristian, 85, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Walnut Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Aug. 31, 1923, in Farmington, the daughter of Lester and Zella Brown Broyles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McChristian; a son, Billy McChristian; and a sister, Wilma Cole.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Center Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Dick McChristian and his wife Janet of Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Alicia McChristian of Fayetteville; three sisters, Thealda Pennington, Doris Ann Yates and Wanda Sue Hammond, all of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Farmington Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Officiating will be Ronnie Morrison.
