EDWARD J. ENGLE DIES;
LIVED HERE MANY YEARS

Edward J. Engle, sixty-two, passed away yesterday afternoon at Wilmington, Del., following a brief illness. He had lived in Scranton until six years ago when he moved to Wilmington.
The deceased conducted a paint and paperhanging business in this city for many years. He was a member of Scranton Aerie of Eagles.
Surviving are a son, Edward Jr., Wilmington; two daughters, Cora Pellerin, Windsor, N.Y., and Mrs. Wilma Pearson, this city; one stepson, Jay Smith, and a stepdaughter, Louise Smith, New York City; a brother William, this city; a sister, Mrs. Julia Huffling, Erie, and several grandchildren.
The body will be brought to this city on Thursday and services will be held at the Snowdon Funeral Home, 802 Mulberry Street, on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Forst Hill Cemetery.
Note: My 1st cousin, 4 times removed.
