Graveside Funeral services for longtime Holdenville resident, Wanda Grizzle, 74, are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, July 3, 2009 Holdenville Cemetery with burial to follow at Holdenville Cemetery. Alan Eck will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Steve Jinks, Cody Jinks, Chris Brow, Benjamin Maxwell, Connor Maxwell, and Jonathan Whitaker. Mrs. Grizzle passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Holdenville. Wanda was born on December 30, 1934 in Bilby, Oklahoma to Earnest and Ruby Britton Merriman. Wanda married William Meredith Grizzle on December 11, 1953 in Allen, Oklahoma, They have been married for 55 years. Wanda was a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Holdenville. Wanda loved yard work, gardening, spending time with friends and her church family. Wanda is survived by her husband Meredith of the home, two children Gayle Grizzle Jinks and husband Steve; Kimberly Grizzle Brow and husband Chris; four grandchildren; Cody Jinks and wife Rebecca; Casey Jinks Whitaker and husband Jonathan; Benjamin Maxwell and Connor Maxwell, and two great grandchildren; Cody Whitaker and Meredith Jinks, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son Meredith Dale Grizzle.
