Rebecca "Becky" Murrieta, #38965208 is the daughter of Joaquin "Juan" M. Murietta and Carlotta Dominguez. She married (1) Robert "Bob" Howard Sousa. They were blessed with three children, Lisamarie Sousa Herrell, Ronald Alden and Mark Anthony Sousa #187679951. Rebecca married (2)Raymond "Ray" Harold Webster. They were blessed with three children: Sabrina "Tina" Rebecca Webster Storms, Harold "Po-po" Anthony and Raymond Bruce Webster.Rebecca Webster Napa County Register NewspaperSunday, July 26, 2009 MANSFIELD, Texas - Our beloved mother, Rebecca "Becky" Murrieta Webster passed away July 1, 2009, due to sudden renal artery failure. Becky was Born May 2, 1940 in Vallejo, CA. She was the only daughter of seven children born to Juan and Carlota Murrieta of Vallejo.Becky attended Vallejo High School. During her youth, she developed a deep bond with her mother and siblings as the family endured the loss of Juan at a very early age. The family worked in migrant farms, learning invaluable life skills. Becky was also able to master her mom's culinary skills.After high school, Becky married and had six children whom she loved and dearly supported throughout their lives. Becky moved to Mansfield, Texas, in the late '70s. With the culinary skills she acquired from her mom, she enjoyed a successful career as a sous chef at SkyChefs and Luthansa Airlines. In the mid '90s, being semi-retired, she continued her love of food preparation at Albertsons as a supervisor in both the deli and butcher block departments. Becky's success, at Albertsons in particular, was due to her warm personality, eagerness to make her customers smile and her ability to teach them to make dishes for the their own families.Her hobbies included hand crafts, video games and spontaneous gambling trips with her cherished friends Joann, Victoria, Jackie and Carla. Becky remained content and independent even at her passing. Becky was predeceased by her father and mother and two brothers, Jackie and Skip.Surviving her are her brothers Ramone, Johnny, Tony and Max; children: Lisamarie Sousa Herrell and husband Chuck, Sabrina "Tina" Webster Storms and husband Karl, and Mark Sousa (all in Mansfield, Texas), Ronald Sousa of Winters,CA Harold "Popo" Webster of Vacaville,CA and Raymond Webster and wife Danielle of Pasadena,CA.She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, one great-grandson soon to enter this world, and her precious dog, Angel.Becky requested no funeral services and that her remains be taken to California and placed along side her beloved mother in her crypt.The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate her life at a later date. The Memorial service was attended by family and friends in the Chapel of Methodist Hospital, Mansfield, TX.
