Christine Phillips, 83, passed away on July 1, 2009. She was born in Houston County, AL and moved to Ocala in 1957. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, Sons of Confederate Veterans Auxillary, Daughters of the Confederacy, Order of Confederate Rose and active in the Retired Navy CPO's organizations. She is survived by her loving husband, James C. Phillips of Ocala, her loving daughters, Yevette Sutter and husband Don and Karen L. Phillips, all of Port Charlotte, her sister, Linda Roland of Nashville, TN, her brothers, Buford and Levon Fortson, Both of Dothan, AL, her four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Hospice of Marion County.
