Robin B. Davis, 42, of DeWitt, VA, widow of Robert James Davis, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of Mattie T. Bailey and the late Harold Bailey of DeWitt. She was preceded in death by an older sister, Carolyn Thompson. Mrs. Davis is survived by her two children, Matthew and Shelby Davis; a granddaughter, Kaylie Marie Davis; a sister, Donna T. Davis and husband John of DeWitt; and a brother, Mark A. Bailey of Petersburg. She devoted her life to her family whom she loved dearly. She was a member of Rocky Run United Methodist Church and endeared the love of music in her life by being part of a band with her brother, Mark, at an early age and by working as a D.J. at Outlaws Bar & Grill for three years. She had many friends and was loved by all. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 3, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Kitan Petreski and the Rev. Gary Akin officiating. Interment will follow at Hawkins Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ford, VA. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
