A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1999, in Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes for Ira M. Dueltgen, who died May 6 at age 90.
Mr. Dueltgen was born Oct. 23, 1908, in Falls City. He graduated from Oregon Normal School in Monmouth. He taught in Salem before moving to the Portland area in 1942. He worked for the Multnomah County Planning Commission for about 25 years until retiring as a chief building inspector in 1973. He founded the Oregon Territory Antique Phonograph Society in the early 1960'2. He married Dottie M. Womer in 1929.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Robert M. of Beaverton and Ronald R. Eagan, Minn.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity.
