Mrs. Thompson was born November 22, 1886 in Junction City, and had lived in Manhattan for the last 31 years. She was a former school teacher, past president of the Altar Society, member of the PTA, a charter member of the D. and L. Club, sung in the Seven Dolors choir, and was a tireless worker for her church and her community.
Survivors include her husband, George E. Thompson of the home, 729 Fremont; four daughters, Mrs. L. D. Worrel, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; Mrs. T. C. Lutz, Junction City; Mrs. R. M. Zerby Jr., 510 Leavenworth, in this city, and Miss Lida Thompson, Long Beach, Calif.; one son, James E. Thompson, Long Island, New York; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John Gazda, Chicago, and a brother, James Reidy, Coffeyville.
