A lifelong resident of Stephens County, she married A. D. Goodwin May 21, 1915, in Stephens County. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Breckenridge. Survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Lou) Attaway and Mrs. Billie Jones; one son, Joe; three sisters, Mrs. Rhea Robertson, Mrs. Dennis Collins and Mrs. James Shofner; one brother, John Stewart; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Two infant children, a brother and sister preceded her in death.
