Funeral services for Eli Lambert

Eli Washington Lambert 49 paper mill employee of Georgetown died at 3:39 Wednesday afternoon April 13 at a local hospital. He suffered a heart attack Monday.

Mr Lambert was born in the O'Ceda section of Georgetown county a son of the late Emanuel W and Mrs Victoria Lambert. He was employed by the local paper mill 15 years ago. He was a member and deacon of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving including his widow the former Miss Sarah Rogers a son Dan Lambert of Georgetown three brothers Cicero Lambert of Lancaster and Wood and Curtis Lambert of Georgetown a sister Mrs Mattie L Cooper of near Georgetown and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon form the Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev OB Floyd pastor the Rev Lacey Drew and the Rev H Gainey. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery Annex.
