Malora S. McDaniel, age 86, of St. Augustine, died on June 30 at her home in St. Augustine. She was born in Sanford, North Carolina and was a longtime resident of Charlotte, N.C., before moving to St. Augustine in 1992. Mrs. McDaniel worked as a Communications Clerk for Duke Power Company for many years. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed University of North Carolina Tar Heel Basketball. She was a member of Marsh Creek Ladies Golf Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jay McDaniel. Survived by her children and nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
