On Saturday last another pioneer woman of this vicinity passed away. Mrs. August Hansen died at the age of 79 years. The deceased was born in Holstein Germany and came to this country in the early fifties and located on a farm in the town of Charlestown where she resided until some fifteen years ago when she and her aged partner moved to this village. She experienced all the hardships of pioneer life. She is survived by a husband, three sons and three daughters. The funeral took place Tuesday and was largely attended.
