Born on August 21, 1942, he was the son the late Delmer and Vivian (Degeneffe) Drees. John loved visiting with his family and friends, tending to his herd of cows and working on the farm. He is survived by his wife; Three daughters; Three brothers; Nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, And his faithful companions, dogs Nick and Maggie. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by, A daughter, Sarah, and a brother Billy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Peshtigo from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo.
