MRS. CROSS PASSES ON DURING MORNING

Dora Adelia Cross, aged 37 years, 11 months and 25 days, died at the Grande Rhonde hospital this morning after a short illness. Funeral services will be announced later. The body is at the Snodgrass and Zimmerman mortuary.

Mrs. Cross, who lived at 2302 North Birch for the last 10 months, was born June 19, 1891, and was expecting to move to Nampa, Ida. in the near future. She is survived by her husband, H.S. Cross and the following children: Lloyd, 17; Ellis, 15; Dorothy, 14; Ralph, 11; Ethel, 8; Wilbert, 6; Edwin, 2; and Baby [Note: Kenneth]. She also leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mordecai C. Long and the following brothers and sisters: John, Cecil, Orville and Evelyn Long, all of Valleyford, Wash.; Mrs. Otto Evers of Cusick, Wash., Arthur Long of Opportunity, Wash., and Mrs. Alice Robbins, of La Grande. ~~~

NOTE: Dora Long was married to Hallie Cross on July 1, 1911 in Valleyford, Spokane County, Washington.
