Mr. Jett was born April 14, 1940, in Fort Worth. He was a member of Azle Christian Church. He retired from Menasco Manufacturing where he was a machinist for 36 years.
David had many hobbies, which included drag boats, street rods and cutting horses. He truly loved his grandchildren and they were the biggest part of his life. Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy.
He was preceded in death by his father, B.W. Jett, and mother, Eva Marie Jett.
Survivors: Wife, Barbara Jett; son, David and his wife, Karen; daughters, April Hightower and husband, Lynn, and Angela Royce and husband, David; grandchildren, Bailey Verrett, Jacob Jett, Steven and Kaci Hightower; brothers, James Jett and wife, Janice, and Michael Jett and wife, Donna; and sister, Vanessa Jett.
