Jane Sears, age 89 of Germantown passed away Tuesday June 29 in Lexington, Ky. where she has made her home the last 3 years. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Laura Michael.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin in 1996, great grandson Nathan James Matuszewics and her brother Donald Michael. She was a member of the Farmersville Eastern Star where she served as past matron, a member of Slifers Presbyterian Church and she worked along side her husband on their family farm for many years. Jane is survived by her daughters Karen ( William) Crist of Lexington, KY and Rita (Richard) Luber of Columbia, SC, her twin sister Mary Shank, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren., many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Pastor Larry Lindstrom officiating. Burial will take place at Holp Cemetery.
