Herald of Truth - Volume XXII, Number 6 - March 15, 1885 - pages 94 and 95Groff. - On the 15th of Feb., in Waterloo Twp., Waterloo Co., Ontario, Brother Abm. Groff, aged 55 years, 4 months and 2 days. About two weeks before his death, he lost his reason, apparently, and according to the saying of the physicians, he died of congestion of the lungs. He was buried at Martin's Meeting-house on the 18th, and the high esteem in which he was held appeared from the fact that a vast number of friends and acquaintances followed him to the grave.
