Brief rites were conducted at the Wieneke home at 2 p.m. on 29 May 1945. Visitation was then held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. that afternoon at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Brussels. Funeral services were conducted at the conclusion of the visitation at 3:30 p.m.
