CHARLES ADOLPHUS WOODWARD

CHARLES ADOLPHUS WOODWARD, son of Enoch J. and Annie Lititia (Raymond) Woodward, was born September 29, 1877, in Fountain Green, Utah. Being one of the younger children, Charles was a little more fortunate in getting more book learning than the old ones in the family. Most of his early life was spent in Colorado and New Mexico.

After moving to Utah he still continued to take advantage of the added opportunities and therefore acquired a better education than some of his older brothers and sisters.

He married on the 24th of Nov., 1904, Miss Mary Almira Yeager, daughter of George Thomas and Amelia (Hall) Yeager, who lived in Jensen, Utah. Like his older brothers, he is a farmer and had a farm on the reservation, as it is commonly termed, though most of the time until 1924 he lived in Jensen. In 1924 he moved to Provo, Utah, where he felt that he could give his children a little better opportunity for schooling.
