ROBERTS

Johnnie L. Roberts, the son of Noah J. Roberts and Betty Florence Wells, was born June 18, 1906, in Lucas County and passed away at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital on April 23, 1976. He had reached the age of 69 years, 10 months and 5 days.

On September 13, 1932 he was united in marriage to Twila Louise Neal of Russell. To this union 12 children were born, six daughters and six sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a daughter and four sons.

Surviving are his wife, Twila and his children: Jerry of Bettendorf; Barbara Cain of Sedalia, Mo.; Beverly Thompson of Spring Valley, Calif.; Linda Isom of Wichita Falls, Tex.; Patricia Roam of Monroe, Ia.; Sherri Arnold of Baker, La.; and Terry of Chariton; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nephews and cousins.

He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. Edward Quick, at 1 p.m. Monday, April 26, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery.
