KIMBERLY "KIM" ANN ODEGARD-CRAWFORD
April 27, 1965 - June 24, 2009

After a long battle with a rare cancer (Leiomyosarcoma), Kim passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Kim was first a mother, then a teacher.
Her faith in a loving God provided her much strength.
She loved providing an education for her children and others. Kim had a passion for music, animals and life. She lived her whole life for others, selflessly researching Leiomyosarcoma and sharing this information with several hundred others around the world suffering and living with this rare cancer.
Kim persued a degree in nursing to which she became a registered nurse and worked at Southwest Washington Medical Center.
Kim traveled the world seeking the best available treatment for cancer to include having 269 tumors removed from her lungs in 2005 in Germany. She hosted a website with information on laser lung surgery where many people from around the world have referred to. It was a life passion that allowed her to live for four more years.
Kim leaves behind her devoted husband of 22 years, John; her two daughters, Mariah and Abby; and her son, Nathaniel. She will also be missed by her sister Tammy; father, Roy; and mother, Nancy.
