FLORENCE - Services for Judith Anne "Judy" Gasque Moody, 60, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Latta United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mark Long officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Ms. Moody died March 23, 2002. Born in Massachusetts on August 11, 1941, she was a daughter of Judge (Ret.) Samuel Norwood Gasque Sr. and the late Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Benton Gasque.
Ms. Moody was a retired administrative specialist with the South Carolina Department of Corrections. She attended Columbia College, St. Andrews College, and was a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College. Ms. Moody was a member of Latta United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Jesse James Brigman III (Jennifer) of Latta; her father of Latta; a sister, Nancy Ruth Gasque Finklea (Buzzy) of Latta; two brothers, Samuel Norwood Gasque Jr. (Marilyn) of Flat Rock, NC and Paul Edgar Gasque (Laura) of Latta; and 1 granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a brother, James Robert Gasque.
