Rudolph and Estella got married in 1878. They had 11 children. Ten of their children were: Gertrude, Frank F., Mary C., Theresa E., Rudolph W., Edward A., Estella M., Madeline A., Hobart Joseph and Theodore T. Stecher.

In 1900, Rudolph's occupation was a Hotel Keeper in Riverside, New Jersey.

STECHER -- Riverside, N. J., 17th inst., Rudolph F., husband of Estelle Stecher, aged 58. Relatives and friends, also Riverside Fire Company No. 1; Riverside Turners, Riverside Eureka Beneficial Society, Red Men, Tacoma Tribe, No. 204, of Delanco, N. J. and Lodge No. 996, B. P. O. Elks, of Burlington, invited to funeral, Tuesday 8 A.M., residence, 2 Franklyn Avenue, Riverside, N. J. Solemn requiem mass St. Peter's, 9 A.M. Interment St. Peter's. Remains may be viewed Monday 8 P.M.
