"BIG SPRING -- William Wylie Clements, 47, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at his home six miles west of Garden City. Funeral is pending at River-Welch Funeral Home.

Born June 17, 1918, in Putnam, Tex., he married Billie Bigby Aug. 25, 1945, in Big Spring. He moved from Stanton to Garden City in 1952.

Survivors are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Linda Casey, Brenda Clements and Pattie Clements, all of Garden City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Clements of Stanton; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Poindexter of Ree Heights, S.D., Mrs. Pat Craton of Roswell, N.M., and Mrs. Bobbie Butech of Corpus Christi; and one brother, W. H.
