Arthur Roman Hager was born on November 8, 1907 to Charles and Cora Roman Hager at Fairbury, Nebraska.
When Arthur was a young man, the family moved to a farm in the Lawrence, Nebr. Area where they resided for several years before moving to a farm east of Blue Hill. On March 14, 1934, Arthur and Agnes Baker were united in marriage. They lived and farmed in that area until their retirement eight years ago and then moved into Blue Hill.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Agnes, one sister, Mrs. Garnet Coughlen of Lafayette, Colorado, an aunt, Mrs. Elsie Coon, of Tomball, Texas, an uncle, Jess Hager, of Guide Rock, several brothers and sisters-in-law and 26 nephews and nieces. Arthur's parents, two infant sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
