Mrs. Gilliland is survived by 2 sons, Tommy Gilliland of Roanoke and Byron Gilliland of Jacksonville, Fla.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Hoyt Mann of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Stanton Adams of Franklin, Ga., Mrs. Taylor Green of Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Najeeb Sinunu of Encino, Calif; 13 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Rev. C. B. Yeargan of High Point, N. C., Rev. M. C. Yeargan of Sulphur, Okla., and W. W. Yeargan of Lebanon, Tenn.; 1 sister, Mrs. James Linahan of St. Lewis, Mo.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gilliland were conducted, at 3:39 this Wednesday afternoon from Quattlebaums Chapel, with Dr. J. A. Gann and Rev. Wayne Cain officiating. Burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery. Quattlebaum's Brown Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
