During the many years that he lived in Roanoke he was prominent in the church and business life of the town. He served on the board of deacons of the First Baptist Church and as superintendent of the Sunday school.
Mr. Fausett is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Rufus West, of Crescent City, Fla., and Mrs. Joe Strong, of Atlanta; five grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. J. B. Tomlin, of Roanoke, and Mrs. Emma White, of Opelika.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 Friday afternoon, April 25, at Quattlebaums Funeral Home with the Rev. T. R. McKibbens officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery.
