BRANNAN DEAD IN PELHAM, GA.
Roanoke Business Man Pneumonia Victim This A. M.
The shocking announcement came over the wires this morning that Bunyan B. Brannan had died in Pelham, South Georgia, at 7:30 a. m., after a few days illness of pneumonia. He did not consent for his family to be notified until last night. Then his wife, his daughter, Miss Virginia, and brother, Carey Brannan, accompanied by Dr. C. E. Ford, left for Pelham at 11 p. m.
Mr. Brannan had been in the drug business in Roanoke for many years, but since selling out he had been traveling for a wholesale drug concern. He was on his regular rounds when illness overtook him.
It is expected that his body will arrive in Roanoke late this evening. No plans have been announced for the funeral as this paper goes to press. A son of the deceased, Dr. Max Brannan, is located in Gen. Grant Park in California.
Mr. Brannan was the eldest son of the late Rev. and Mrs. A. S. Brannan, was a member of the Baptist church, and had a large circle of friends, being of a genial, lovable nature.
