Mr. Beaird was a native of Chambers County.
Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church at 3:00 p. m. Sunday. June 21, under the direction of the Rev. Earle Trent. Interment was in the Cedarwood Cemetery, with Quattlebaum's Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Beaird is survived by his wife: three sons: Emmett of Fairfax Woodrow of Atlanta, and Wallace Crenshaw of the United States Army: nine daughters: Mrs. M D Brown and Mrs. Lena Crosley of Columbus, Ga., Mrs. E. G. Horn and Mrs. Ethel Burdette of Atlanta. Mrs. Gordon Crowder of Five Points, Myra and Mazie Beaird of Rt. 2 Roanoke, Mrs. Versie Boroge and Mrs. B. L. Yarbrough of West Point. Ga.: fourteen grandchildren, 10 greatgrand-children: one brother, E. E. Beaird of Albertville, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Carden of Roanoke.
