Carson Dean "Scooby" Phillips

TRINITY -- Funeral for Carson Dean "Scooby" Phillips, 2, of Caddo will be Thursday at noon at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Phillips and the Rev. Steve Agee officiating.

Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Carson died Monday, July 10, 2000, at his home. He was born Jan. 6, 1998, in Decatur to Robert Phillips and Gloria "Tootie" Phillips. He loved watching his sister play T-ball, reading books and watching "Blue Clues," "Pooh Bear" and "Bear in the Big House." He was the grandson of the late David Phillips and Madonna Phillips.

He is survived by his parents; his sister, Catarina Phillips of Caddo; and his grandparents, Tommy Riggs and Anne Riggs of Hartselle, and Mike Gaines and Boots Gaines of Phoenix.

Pallbearers will be Brian Griffin, Allen McAbee, Bo Seagrist, Charles Hosey, Billy Joe Harrell, Aaron McAbee and Ken McElwayne.
