Claude Elmer Hall, 87, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at a Flatwoods, Ky., nursing home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Ballard Hall and Louzerna Gilliam Hall. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Armstrong Hall.
Surviving are sons, Daniel Robert, William Lester and James "Jim" Hall; daughters, Rita Jane Miller and Barbara Ann Broadwell; brothers, Charles and Winston Churchill Hall; sisters, Pauline Hall Carver and Lillie Hall Brown; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Bernie Parsons, minister, officiating and interment in Greene Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
