FINDLAY — Catheryn Riddle Kingery, age 92, of Findlay and formerly of Wellington, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay after a sudden illness.

She was born March 22, 1917 in Spencer, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lemuel Elliot and Ocial (Roberts) McCoy. She had lived in Wellington for 68 years and for the past 8 months in Findlay. Catheryn had worked at Lattimer's Nursing Home, the Wellington Hospital both of Wellington, American Greetings in Oberlin, Cleveland Steel in Wellington. She was a Christian lady. Catheryn was a member of the Penfield Community Church, and the Penfield Quilters. She loved her family and their activities. Catheryn loved to quilt, crochet, sew and cook.

She is survived by her children, Carroll (Rose) Riddle of Findlay, Joyce (Carl) Edgar of Oberlin, Linda (Jim) Hartman of Wellington, and Michael (Terry) Riddle of Wellington; stepdaughter, Carol Baker of Medina; stepson, Jerry Kingery of Virginia; 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Ona Norman of Tennessee; brother, Denzil McCoy of Milan, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Norman, her second husband, Arthur Riddle in 1985, her third husband, John Kingery in 1995, her son, George Harold Norman in 1999, and her brother, Garland McCoy in 2005.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the Penfield Community Church, 40775 State Route 18, Wellington with Pastor Chris Reutepohler officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
