Vivian LadyGabazell Adadee (Jack) Roberts, 93, Dardanelle, AR, formerly of Gould, OK passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Dardanelle Nursing Home in Dardanelle AR. Funeral Services will be 3:30 P.M. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Church of Christ in Gould, OK. Interment will be at the Gould Cemetery in Gould, OK.
Vivian (Jack) was born July 15, 1917 in Lebanon, OK to James Franklin and Effie (Waggoner) Bales. She married Earl Roberts on October 17, 1938 in Madill, OK. Vivian was a homemaker who loved cooking for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She liked growing flowers in her yard and having a vegetable garden. Jack was a great competitive domino player. She was a member of the Gould Church of Christ.
Vivian is survived by one daughter, Betty Roberts Wood and her husband Paul of Ola, AR; four sons, Earl "Bo" Roberts and his wife Linda of Northlake, TX, David Roberts and his wife Sylvia of Mangum, OK, Jim Roberts and his wife Betty of Gruver, TX, and Thomas Roberts and his wife DeeAnn of Blair, OK; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roberts in 1984; and one son Billy Jack Roberts in 1989.
