MONROE JOHNSON DIES

Monroe Johnson, aged 51, died suddenly at his home in Easley, Monday morning at 1:30 o'clock. He is survived by his widow, who was Miss Lula Wyatt before marriage, and five children; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Johnson, of Anderson county; three brothers, William, Furman, and Veston, and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Brown and Mrs. L. J. Day.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. D. W. Hiott and J. P. McCoy.

Interment was made in Corinth cemetery near Easley.
