SAN ANTONIO - Glenn E. Reinders, 59, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Riverton, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at his residence.
He was born February 3, 1950, in Springfield, the son of John D. and Sylvia Reinders.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathleen Rogerson.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Sue Reinders of San Antonio; sisters, Nadene Ferrer of Spring, TX, and Margaret Reinders of Spokane Valley, WA.; brothers, Gerald (Marlene) Reinders of Victoria, VA., Charles (Denise) Reinders and Melvin (Brenda) Reinders of Spokane Valley, WA, and John Reinders of Burke, VA.; stepmother, Eloise Reinders of Springfield; stepsister, Sherrie Bruley Cheshire of Omaha, Neb.; stepbrother, Louis Ray (Linda) Bruley of Buffalo; stepchildren, Dana (Dennis) Glendening of Sugarland, TX and Davey (Kelly) Ranne of Spring Branch, TX; and step-grandchildren, Michael Glendening of Sugarland, TX and James Ranne and David Mathew of Spring Branch, TX.
Glenn graduated from Riverton High School in 1968. After serving in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1969 to 1973, he worked for the U.S. Air Force and Toshiba Corp., in San Antonio.
Cremation rites were accorded with inurnment to occur at a later date in Indian Point Cemetery.
