Mr. DeLappe was an architect in the San Francisco area of California. He graduated from University of California with a bachelors, and later a masters of science in architecture. He worked with the Department of Public Works for the United States Navy in 1918 and was an Ensign in the United States Navy Reserve Force during WWI. He worked with William Knowles, Oakland architect, as a chief designer 1923-26, before opening his own office. His designs include several city and county buildings, hospitals, and large housing projects in Modesto, Oakland, Benecia, and San Francisco. Near the end of his career he was partnered with Mitchell Van Bourg.
