Eve "Tante" Accomasso, 80, of Atwood, died Nov. 10, 1995, in Sterling at Devonshire Acres.
Visitation is Tuesday and Wednesday Nov. 14 and 15 until 5 p.m. at the Chaney-Walters Funeral Home. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Ms. Accomasso was born Sept. 29, 1915 in Cumberland, Wyo. to Paul S. and Eugenia (Aimone) Accomasso. At six months of age, she moved with her family to Sterling, She attended Sterling schools and graduated from Logan County High School in 1933. The family moved to Atwood in 1940 where she was a partner in the family farming and ranching operation. Eve was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and was actively involved in volunteer services at Devonshire Acres.
She is survived by brothers Ed Accomasso of Atwood and Pert Accomasso and wife Grace, also of Atwood; a sister, Lillian Chidester and husband Frank of Chula Vista, Calif., a nephew Pary Accomasso and wife Sue of Atwood, a niece Elaine Martinelli and husband Eu gene of Lakewood and great- nieces Kari and Tessa Accomasso, both of Atwood.
She was preceded in death by brothers Emil, Reb and Til Acco masso.
Memorials may be made to De vonshire Resident Sponsored Bird Aviary Fund, the Logan County Veterans Memorial or a charity of choice.
