Bo was born on August 16, 1930 in Athens, Texas to Dan C. and Leaona Bell, Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bo married Barbara Ann Lewallen in Muleshoe on August 21, 1955. He moved to Denver City in 1959, where he owned and operated the Big Dipper Donut Shop, before going into the oilfield service. Bo drove a truck for G & G Tong Rentals for 14 years. He loved fishing and barbecuing for his family and church. Bo was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Harry and Hobert Bell; two sisters, Susie Martin and Allie Lee Bell; and a son-in-law, Steve Leasure.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Bell, of Denver City; son, Jamie Dwayne Bell of Denver City; daughter, Lanette Rene'e Bell Leasure of Amarillo; sister, Fayrene Armstrong of Maybank, Texas; four grandchildren, Brandon Leasure and wife Macheal of Amarillo, Bryce Leasure of Amarillo, Chalie Del Real and husband Arturo of Odessa and Destri Bell of Denver City; three great-grandchildren, Hudson Leasure, Anthony Del Real and Achlynn Bell; and many nieces and nephews.
