He moved to this area in 1952 from Nebraska to make his home. He was employed at Goldkist, Emerson, Wal-Mart, and McDonald's. He received a Presidential Citation for his instrumental work with the Manhattan Project relating to the development of the atomic bomb. He attended Antioch Church of Christ and is preceded in death by one step-daughter, Glenda Weston.
Survivors are his wife, Bonita Harris of Bentonville; two step-sons, Jimmy Weston and wife Lucille of Stella, Mo., and Johnny Weston and wife Lynne of Deming, Washington; one step-daughter, Shirley Baker and husband Darrel of Rogers; one sister, Vera Holland of Joplin, Missouri.
Graveside service will be held Friday, February 27, 2:00p.m., at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Cemetery, c/o Sharon Schell, 9617 Price Coffee Road, Bentonville, Ar. 72712
