AIKEN, S.C.- Funeral services for Mr. Larry Spradley, Sr. will be held Sunday, August 31, 2003 at 4 p.m. at Millbrook Baptist Church with The Revs. Dr. Eddie Leopard and Dr. W. James Rivers officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Mr. Spradley, 75, of Kalmia Circle, Aiken, died Friday, August 29, 2003 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. A native of Batesburg, he was a son of the late Richmond and Essie Fulmer Spradley. He was retired from DuPont at the Savannah River Plant, and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He had lived in Aiken for 45 years and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Mr. Spradley was first married to the late Reba Quattlebaum Spradley. Survivors include his second wife, June Derrick Spradley, a son and daughter-in-law, L. Hampton "Hamp" and Gail Spradley, Jr., Springfield, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin Marinda and John Becnel, Baton Rouge, La., Kathi Irene and Steve Mullins, Augusta; a sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Jack Shealy, Batesburg; ten grandchildren, Christopher, Abigail, Philip and Caroline Mullins, Andrew and Barrington Becnel, and Lauren, Larry III, Olivia and Avery Spradley.
