ADA - Services for Freda Sanders, 69, Ada, are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Revs. John Haynes and Pat Kilby officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanders died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born January 14, 1935, at Holdenville to Albert and Gladys Ruby Blevins Wesley. She attended school at Spaulding, graduated from Holdenville High School in 1953, and attended East Central University.
She was employed as a cashier with O. G. & E., retiring in 1995.

She married L. L. Sanders September 26, 1970 in Ada. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Ada Artist Guild.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jesse Deaton; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, L. L. Sanders, of the home; two sons, Randy Sanders, Ada, and Brent Sanders, Ada; one daughter, Sheila Deaton, Yukon; four sisters, Dorthy Cook, Amarillo, Texas, Gaynelle Fleming, Miami, Margaret Cook, Nipomo, Calif., and Betty Sue Garrad, Durant; five brothers, Leroy Thacker, Maunelle, Ark., Ray Thacker, Little Rock, Ark., Al Davenport, Oklahoma City, Don Davenport, Earlsboro, and Jim Davenport, Norman; five grandchildren, Chris Deaton, Bree Sanders Reza, Roy Deaton, Trent Sanders and Erin Sanders.

Bearers are Steve Groves, Chuck Brendle, Jim Rutherford, Rick Rinehart, Bryan Tatum and Kevin Lynch.
