Mrs. Hazel Mae (Ross) Rose, age 94 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. She was a homemaker and faithful member of Hamlet Baptist Church. She was a lifelong member of the Women's Missionary Union and was an avid Marshall County Genealogist for 33 years.

Born Friday, January 22, 1926 in Marshall County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Ross and the late Lillie A. (York) Ross.

Surviving are son, Steve M. Rose, wife Cindy of Benton, KY, daughters, Judy Lovett, husband Danny of Benton, KY, Janet Darnall, husband Carl of Benton, KY and Sharon Inman, husband Richard of Benton, KY, 7 grandchildren, Ginger Cook, Julie Royster, Danna Lovett Semenic, Jason Darnall, Scott Inman, Sara Wood, and Jeremy Rose; 9 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Franklin Rose, and sisters, Lounell York and Geneva York.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025, Rev. Glenn Cope officiating.

Interment will follow in Hamlet Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
