Hubert R. Bosma, 63, of 2118 Calumet Ave., New Holstein, died Thursday at his home following an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of New Holstein, he was born Oct. 2, 1899, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bosma. Following the death of his first wife, he married Nov. 11, 1949, to Vera Kraetschmann. Mr. Bosma operated a tavern for many years. He was a member of the Redmen Lodge and St. John's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Hubert Jr. Elgin AFB (Air Force Base), Fla.; a stepson, Donald K Davies, Oshkosh; a brother, John, Chilton; six sisters, Mrs. Patrick Mahon, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Al Schukert, Ysidro, Calif., Mrs. Harold Harris, Mrs. Evelyn Baldock and Mrs. Leo Dorn, all of New Holstein, and Mrs. Melvin Pingel, Chilton, and five grandchildren.
