I.E. Lowrey, 84, Succumbs Friday: Services Monday -
Irven E. Lowrey, 84, retired Decorator, passed away Friday at 5:25 p.m. at his residence at 120 Brinker Ave., following a week's illness.
He was born September 16, 1862, in York Twp., the Son of Robert J and Mary Smith Lowrey. He was a lifelong resident of Belleveu and vicinity. Mr. Lowrey was married to Daisy Fry on July 6, 1982(1892), and she preceded him in death on January 5, 1945. Mr. Lowrey, who was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Woodmen of the World, retired from active work five years ago.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from St. Paul's Episcopal Church in charge of the Rev. Charles H. Gross. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Survivors are Three(3) Sons, Roland, Robert and Lawrence, all of Bellevue, and a Grandson, Thomas Lowrey.
Friends may call at the residence late this afternoon. The Waters and Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Source:Dated: March 22, 1947
