Will Zuercher Rites Saturday
Funeral services for Will Zuercher, 68, 615 Roosevelt avenue, who died Thursday, will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday in the Riebe chapel followed by services in St. Cecelia's Catholic church, the Rev. G.P. Staff officiating.
Rosary will be recited at the chapel at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Zuercher, a native of the city, had been an employee in the city streets department for the past 12 years. He was a member of the Anton Wenzel lodge, Order of the Sons of Hermann, and the San Antonio aerie No. 7, Order of Eagles.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Agnes Zuercher; son, Henry Zuercher; daughters, Mrs. Billie Beck, Mrs. Marguerite Adams and Miss Catherine Zuercher, San Antonio; brother, Emil Zuercher; sisters, Mrs. Gussie Glaubitz, Mrs. Lena Denininger, San Antonio; four grandchildren.
Interment will be in Mission Burial park. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the ex-students association of St. Mary's university.
