Milton Lorin West, 85, of Pleasant Grove, died Saturday, June 14, 1986 at the American Fork Hospital.
He was born Feb. 18, 1921 in Pleasant Grove to Lorin M. and Pearl Radmall West. He married Maxine Kenney Oct. 8, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple of the LDS Church.
He attended schools in Pleasant Grove and lived his entire life there.
He was an active member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 1st Ward. He was a High Priest. He was a temple worker in the Provo Temple. He had served as a stake missionary, president of the 70s group, president of the Young Mens and Sunday School, ward clerk, stake clerk, and secretary of the High Priests group.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; three sons and one daughter; Gerry West, Lehi; Denise : West, Darrell West and Maurice West, all of Pleasant Grove; four grandchildren; three sisters and one brother; Mrs. Ammon (Louise) Lindsey, Orem; June Ash and Roxy Holcomb, both of Pleasant Grove; Stanley West, American Fork. A sister, Ruth Thompson preceded him in death.
Services will be Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove 1st Ward, 500 South at 200 East. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
