Nedra, affectionately known by her seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren as "Grammy" is survived by her son Brent Eames, her brother Donald Cole and her sisters LuGene Sorenson, Gay Cole and Rochelle Manning.
She met Wendell Eames in Preston high school. They courted and were married after Nedra graduated in 1939.
They traveled to Washington D.C. and lived there for 47 years. Wendell became an F.B.I. agent and Nedra a mother.
Nedra gave much devoted service in the LD.S. Church. She served in the Primary as a teacher and as ward organist for many years. She was a primary pianist in Logan 8th Ward until she was 84 years of age. In Washington, Nedra served in the Stake Relief Society. Nedra and her husband Wendell spent eight years working in the Washington, D.C. Temple, Nedra as Matron and Wendell as Counselor and President. She loved the temple.
Nedra was a loving mother to Brent and a devoted wife to Wendell throughout his life in church leadership. She will always be remembered as a generous, talented and beautiful woman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St., Logan, UT. The viewing will be from 9:30a.m -1 0:30a.m. Interment will be in the Preston, Idaho Cemetery. On line condolences may be sent to [email protected] Please include the family name.
