Mrs. Russell was born Dec. 7, 1870 in Chickasaw County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Randall of Fredericksburg. On Aug, 11, 1889, she married Frank Russell at Fredericksburg. Approximately 30 years ago the couple made their home in Oelwein, later moving to Forest City and finally to Waterloo. Mr. Russell died Sept. 27, 1926.
Mrs. Russell made her home with her sisters, Mrs. H. R. Potter of Oelwein, Mrs. Harvey Tillitison and Mrs. M. I. Houghton, both of Waterloo; and Mrs. E. M. Hartson of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Frank Randall of Fredericksburg and Clarence Randall of Allodon, Wyo.; and a step-son, Royal A. Russell of Anamosa.
