Mary Adelaide Amick, 96, of Decatur, a native of Vevay,
died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Convoy Care Center,
Convoy, Ohio. The Vevay, Switzerland County native was a
homemaker and a former member of Baptist Church in Vevay.
Surviving are a daughter, Nettie Morris of Decatur; a son,
Melvin Courtney of San Antonio; stepsons William of Frankton
and Robert of Anderson; eight grandchildren; five step
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-
grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and two step-
great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Calvin, and a daughter, Irene Mountz.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral
Home, Decatur, with calling from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Burial will be at Decatur Cemetery. Memorials are to the
Adams County Heart Club or the Activities Department at
Convoy Care Center.
