Joyce Ann Hunt Cox, daughter of the late John Edgar and Della Short Hunt, was born Aug. 10, 1941 and died Thursday, April 23 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.
Cox was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.
Cox was also preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Johnny, Garland, Earl, Norma and James Hunt and Irene Benge.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gerald and Tillie Hunt, Lebanon, Midge Hunt, Campbellsville, and Danny and Cindy Cox, Louisville; five grandchildren, Derek Sidebottom, George Hunt, Amanda Rice, Andrea McDonald and Nathan Hunt; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Hunt and Paul Hunt, both of Campbellsville; two sisters, Dorothy Graham, Campbellsville, and Bonnie Hawkins, Greensburg; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2009 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Robbie Spencer, with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: George Hunt, Derek Sidebottom, Clay McDonald, Billy Rice, Austin Cox and Ricky Hunt.
Honorary Pallbearers: Steven Hunt, Marshall Graham, Johnnie Hunt, Gary Hunt, Leon Garner, Larry Cundiff and Jimmy Hunt.
